Bath, UK

I apologize for my absence for awhile since I was taken ill recently and had had some health issues, and want to wish everyone a Happy and Belated Happy New Year! I was up in London and also in Bath a week or so ago and I had been looking for some paintings or prints and interesting art from the local area’s. I am never disappointed as I always find something new and unusual and there is always and interesting twist on the history of any objects I find here.Healing can sometimes be a slow process and always there is the mental and emotional connection to that process. I was in Bath and everytime I go to Bath there is a lovely church I stop in to sit and pray and meditate, light a candle and give thanks to the moment. The last time I was in this church I was lucky enough to hear the Chior rehearse;it was lovely. There is always a special kind of quiet in this church and I always appreciate that, and the ability to be in touch with my own thoughts and prayers. The Bath Abbey was founded in the 7th century and reorganized int he 10th century and rebuilt in the 12 and 16 centuries, it is a lovely example of Perpendicular Gothic Architecture in the West Country and the “Presence” of spirit is very strong; since there are tombs of some very noted individuals who are buried there. The stained glass windows add to the overall elegance and mystical feeling that abounds. I always feel healed and renewed in this very special place. Light and Love,to all for the moment,– MLC
